We are looking for a person who could help our client occasionally now and in the future, by creating complex 3D CAD surfaces.
Preferably someone who has went through IDSX advanced Pro/Surface Level 7 A-Class surfacing (Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire v3).
People who are Design Engine Level 6 is okay, but Level 7 is more preferred.
Level 7 trained engineers has in depth understanding of G2 continuity and A-Class surfaces.
This person could work from his office as well as Amsterdam or Brugge (BE), depends on the project.

1) The Hydraulic Engineer...
will be assigned to a large offshore project.
Hydraulic engineer shall be responsible for
a) the engineering of the hydraulic equipment of the system and the braking system or
b) the engineering hydraulic equipment of the HPU and the design of the piping through the entire vessel (topside lifting system and dubble joint factory)
This hydraulic systems are complex, due to the amount of modes and transitions and because due the large amount of equipment due to the size of the vessel.
Tasks
Optimize subsystem for costs, produce ability, maintainability, serviceability etc
Details subsystem
Simulates subsystem
Establish test plan
Writing specifications and parts lists
Writing test documents
Establish hydraulic diagrams
Applying rules and regulations
Technical contact for divisions
The profile / competences
Bsc./ Msc. degree or higher in mechanical engineering.
Experience or at least strong interest in the Offshore technology

2) The Structural Engineer...
will operate within the division Systems and Engineering, which stands for innovative and high quality custom built drive and controls projects, solutions and systems.
You will be responsible for the mechanical design of steel supporting structures used in a large offshore project. The structures will be used to mount equipment on top. The design of the equipment on top of the supporting structures is not your responsibility, however support is needed for the mechanical design of the supporting structures underneath. Therefore good communication with the project teams within the organisation is required.
Tasks
Design supports for subsystems inside and outside the beams (assembly drawings)
Establish commissioning plan
Writing specifications
Technical contact for divisions
FEM analyses
Monitors all mechanical interfaces with the customer.
The profile/ competences
Bsc./ Msc. degree or higher in mechanical engineering.
Experience or at least strong interest in the Offshore technology

3) The System Engineer...
is responsible for the functionality of a hydraulic and electric drive system. The system consists of subsystems and is complex due the diversity of techniques used and the amount of modes and transitions required. The system engineer communicates with the other system engineers and discipline engineers within the team. Common hydraulic and electric background is required.

Communicates with Project Manager
Communicates with other system engineers
Communicates and plans activities for the discipline engineers
Facilitates Lloyds approval on design
Monitors interfaces (mechanical. Electric & software)
Writing Engineering reports
Making calculations and analyses in order to specify the sub-systems
